# Lets all throw the yuts!
Now that we have raised the stakes massively, shall we have some fun?
The two teams become living play pieces on top of the massive yut board and the games begin in earnest
This isn't the same old yut game that we play every year.
If you want to go through the shortcuts then you need to go through a wide variety of missions!
Clank and Klang~ The long and difficult "food delivery" mission along with the "Find a Mr/Mrs 00 in the broadcasting studio" that forces them to run around barefoot till they are bathed in sweat~
Along with a mission with everyday citizens that is extremely local!
A yut game on a completely different scale, one that has never been seen before!

# The Birth Of The "Yut Master"
Amongst the intense battle where they each go back and force capturing each other, we see the birth of naturally born master of the yut throw.
Once known as the "Six master," Godly Hand Myung Soo is now the "Yut Master!"
Whenever he throws the yuts, he always get Mo! (Highest Score) and is now known as the "Mokey Guy~"
The battle continues and the victor of the match is hard to predict
"Rice Cake Soup" Vs "Magpie" Team, which team will escape the yut board first and take the victory?

# The losers shall receive punishment~
The losers of the yut game gathers in lavish affair.
La~Lalalala♬ The 4 "Rain" appears while singing the ‘LA SONG’!
Perfect sync rate! Forget all the previous parodies!
What will their re-interpreted "La Song Dance" be like?

However even before the excitement of the "La Song~" has begun to die down
The guys head off to undertake their completely unimaginable punishment
What will this punishment be?

Good episode today.

Wasn't expecting much since it was a Seolnal/Holiday special (And they usually tend to be pretty bland) but this week was decent.

Pretty standard game of Yuts. The only major rule changes was the "Swamp/Black Hole" square and the "Challenge" squares. The black hole square wasn't really used but it definitely gave the members an extra element to think about when moving their pieces while the "Challenge" squares helped to lengthen the game a bit and also provide a bit of variety amongst the standard game of Yut.

Beyond that, it was pretty much the members bickering with each other and trying their best to be a massive troll to the other team. I also loved how well the staff built up tension and made it hard to predict who the final winner may be (Constantly hinting at both teams throughout the episode).

Good episode made better with great editing~

Also next week looks amazing.

We have the losing team dressing up as "Rain" and then it's a hidden camera segment where the members hide behind a paid-washing machine and manually wash clothes as they get them. Similar to a really old episode of IC where they manually dispensed coffee from a coffee machine but it looks quite fun.

The detective game thou looks like it could have a lot of potential. All the members being detective and trying to solve a case. Worth looking out for I think

A fun and light episode for the holidays. The members made a simple game interesting with their bickering and trolling.

DF finally subbed this so I finally know what was going on. I had to do some extra general reading about Yut first and thought the game was highly difficult, but IC made the game so fun and interesting with strategies and twists that I felt like playing while I watched.

Overall, I think there wasn't any laugh out loud moments and no member really stood out above the rest, but the members each did enough and really meshed well together that the episode was a good watch. I thought the guest was average for an average episode although he didn't add anything that wasn't already there and most times was invisible i.e. if relevant he played the bullied, quick to anger, or dumb character without much lovable originality since imo IC members can be so but also with individual flair. Among the pronounced personalities of the IC members who bonded so well and were immersed in the game, he quickly became forgettable. (I haven't watched the Lonely Friends sp and this was my introduction to the guest.)

YJS split the teams and I think he consciously divided them into OB+guest and YB teams. At first I didn't like the obvious gap in potential between the teams, but I eventually reasoned that YJS chose his team so he could control the output of his side and its members. Unsurprisingly he did dictate who did their team's challenges, had a lot of say in strategy, and he initiated some reactions against the YB team. But even so right then and there after the team divisions I immediately predicted one team to win and I was right in the end. The result wasn't surprising. I thought the most entertaining aspect of this episode was the OB's bad luck with continuously throwing Do or Back Do (which was quickly edited as a series of events but still funny).

About the Rice Cake Soup team's children's song challenge, I adore the old guys of IC and it tickled me to see them express low confidence with the laptop. The reminder that these silly men aren't adept at everything standard today (living and breathing advanced technology) I hypocritically enjoyed.

About JHD's challenge with kicking the wooden board, I appreciated it more after learning that his move was on purpose and a part of NHC's fraudster plan. That NHC could squeeze in something devious like that in a game where the members were actually playing seriously (without cheating and distracting each other especially over throws of the yut sticks) I greatly approved.

YJS belatedly managed to impress me at the end during the time stop challenge. PMS (and Rice Cake Soup's) Yut throws, NHC's Mo throws, and YJS's timing prowess were to me the noteworthy individual members' moments within this episode.

Not really having to do with this episode, but I think I'm developing into a JJH+YJS shipper lol. I realized after seeing JJH comfortably piggyback YJS often in this episode. Although their friendship isn't as blatant or mainstream as other groupings/duos in IC, I figure I'm strangely attracted to it.

I found the part where Yoo Jae Suk's team gets caught out a few steps from the end to be really funny. Only because Yoo Jae Suk had it coming by being so reckless with his players. But the funny part of that was Noh Hong Chul acting like a complete psycho.

For the most part, I tried not to predict who would win till the last 5 sec count. But on that note, I liked how the staff used flash forwards (Like when they showed the OB team celebrating in 20mins time) to keep the tension up.

The members also always chose the more risky approach. It was obviously a move to keep it interesting and while it may have made the actual game a bit obvious and frustrating, it was for the most part interesting to watch.

And yeah the YJS and JJH combo is amazing~ At least amongst the members, they've known each other for the longest (Since 1995ish) so they just work naturally especially when JS is teasing the hell out of JJH.

It was a good episode all round, especially for a rushed special to match the holidays. They usually tend to be pretty bland so this episode was a pleasant surprise

IA. Although their latter throws were unfortunate, I think the biggest contribution to YJS's team's loss was their weaker strategy (riskier moves). And even then like you said they did it to up the interesting factor. I haven't watched all the recent IC episodes, but from what I've seen I miss PMS's competitive spirit since I'm also a competitive person myself.

I think Park Myung Soo is being a bit more cautious lately. It might be because Jung Jun Ha is rising to greater prominence in recent days but he does clearly seem to be holding back some what. You kind of see that sort of give and take across the other members as well. Right now the focus seems to be on Jun Ha and Gil with the members playing support for them

It's what I noticed too and love about IC, the fact that the members acknowledge and even support the current forerunners. I just am not too happy by the fact that recently PMS and even some members, by stepping back are sometimes almost invisible depending on the episode. I watch IC out of order and with big gaps in between and most raws without understanding the language, so I'm really curious and shocked how JJH and Gil came to be the current focus. The last trendsetter within IC I was even aware of was JHD and that was way back in 2011 :p I'm surprised Gil finally made it (although I guess someone did mention it in an episode). Gil and JJH's performances on IC seem to fluctuate though so I guess that's why I did not even realize that both are currently the more prominent.

Actually there was a really long period where Park Myung Soo was the main focus. Episodes between EP333 to EP347 were very PMS orientated. Then after that we got the Song Festival episodes, which were Jung Hyung Don orientated to a degree. Then we got the Noh Hong Chul and Haha stuff with the Milan and IF specials. Gil and Jung Jun Ha's focus was at the tail end of that part (EP364 to now).

That's why we got a lot of Gil stuff in the Lonely Friend special, with him bidding $1000 etc and Yoo Jae Suk immediately okaying his bids.

The show tends to shift member focuses every 10 or so episodes, so if you happen to watch it out of sync, there is a good chance you'll skip right over certain member focuses and it ends up looking like certain members are in the spotlight for longer.

Trendsetter wise, lets not forget Jung Jun Ha's current diet craze, Jung Hyung Don and GD's couple phase, Manager Jung during EP231 (Manager Jung is Buying), Yoo Jae Suk had one last year when all the members kept complaining about how he nags them a lot (The Me Vs Me episodes and that immediate vicinity).

Haha and Hong Chul had that massive Haha Vs Hong Chul arc during late 2012 (I think), Gil had the overreaching character and born to be boring arc (EP263 etc).

The show goes through so many characters and arcs that it's actually quite hard to keep track of them all if you don't watch the show on a weekly basis. Probably one of the biggest reasons why the show seems so daunting for many newcomers (And boring if they happen to catch one of the least interesting episodes, i.e. idol based ones)
