The battle for a better rank in society has been passed on for 500 years. Infinity Challenge - <The Face Reader - The Game Of Kings> ![]() # The men that want to become a king The 7 members have been given a rank within Joseon society based upon a reading of their faces. They enter the palaces after being invited by the pig face king "King Don." There is an extremely lavish meal for the king while certain other people are given nothing but an empty bowl/ The members experience the evils of feudal society through their completely meals. King Don, who likes to enjoy himself, makes a special proposal. Lets kick aside our "classes" and have fun. From the King to the low class, they have fun together through games. From games such as moving rice cakes with their mouth to the 99 second challenge involving three events. There is plenty of embarrassing moments. The path to rising up the classes is filled with pains. ![]() Tyrant "King Don" becomes more and more violent and certain person is forced down the classes due to the attacks of treacherous lower class beings. He cries in sorrow when a "Bureaucratic Pigeon" comes flying to his side. He receives from them something called a "Timea chine." What is this mysterious device? # We have come from Joseon! From the Joseon Era to 2013 Seoul. The 7 Joseon people have jumped a massive 500 years into the future. They are shocked by the people carriers with wheels and they chastise the folk wearing shameful clothing. However they need to quickly adjust to this strange new Hanyang (The old name for Korea). They are given the chance to rise up the classes in this new world with no set classes. If you want to become a king then you shall hit them with a bowl. If they succeed in their attacks then they can rise up the classes However if they get attacked then they could instantly fall down the classes. The lower class with nothing to lose join forces while the noble and trading class run around busily avoiding both the lower and upper class. Then there is also the current king that refuses to step down from royalty. The heart pounding battle for classes. Who will end up returning to the Joseon era as the king and thus the final victor? |

So finally managed to watch this today. Great episode by the way. So the game rules are simple. You have to try and rise up the ranks. You can do this by attacking the person above you in the class chain. So if you are a lower class, you attack the middle class and you swap places. You can only attack the class that is just above you. Once you get attacked, you cannot move till the end of a song. The game ends in two ways 1) The sun goes down 2) The king captures three lower class citizens The money game near the end involved trading in an object they took from the Joseon Era and trading it for cash. However they must call a price that is lower than what the Trader thinks the item is worth. If they do then they get the amount they wrote down, if not they get nothing. The game itself isn't too complicated. The whole episode is fun more because of how well the members get into character and act out their respective roles. It's more of a skit than a game and it works wonderfully here. I also love the little cameo appearances Defconn is getting in the show, he's great as a cameo. |
